Chief Property Officer
Recruitment
Welcome from Wendy Farrington-Chadd, Chief Executive Officer
Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Property Officer of Community Health Partnerships (CHP). This is an exciting time for us as we look ahead to the NHS 10 Year plan and support the NHS to improve productivity through better use of our buildings. At the same time, we are starting to plan for the next stage of our LIFT asset portfolio beyond the current term of PPP arrangements.
The LIFT estate is managed through public private partnerships, set up initially with 25-year leases, with contracts to ensure they remain fully compliant and maintained. We have a dual role, as head tenant for the properties, and as 40 % shareholder on the LIFTco Boards.
We are five years away from the first of these leases expiring and planning for the future of these assets is well underway. Our Securing the Future Programme is a significant national programme of work which will require CHP’s Board attention and strategic thinking. You will join us at an exciting time as we navigate this new path and lead this work for the NHS.
We are leaders in shaping the care environment for locally based services. We work closely with national partners to influence policy and support delivery of key priorities. We deliver through our regional teams and local partnerships ensuring our buildings are at the heart of their communities. Our people and their expertise are highly valued by those we work with.
I am looking for an exceptional Chief Property Officer, guided by personal values which align to our own – committed to providing inspirational leadership to the company and to placing customers at the heart of what we do.
This role will lead our Property & Operations Directorate, setting strategy, driving performance, compliance and delivering, and as such we are seeking substantial leadership experience in property portfolio management, ideally from both the public and private sectors in organisations that have undergone significant change and growth.
If you think you have the skills and ability to add value to our organisation in driving forward our strategy we would like to hear from you.
Kind Regards,
Wendy Farrington-Chadd, Chief Executive Officer
