Financial Controller
recruitment
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the role of Financial Controller at Community Health Partnerships (CHP). This is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to a respected organisation at the heart of the NHS family and play a key leadership role in delivering robust, strategic financial stewardship across a complex and high-profile portfolio.
CHP is a company wholly owned by the Department of Health and Social Care, established to improve community-based health and social care services through the provision and management of high-quality facilities and strategic estate partnerships. Our mission is clear: to provide innovative and sustainable spaces for patient care, and to do so through collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to public value.
As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Chief Finance Officer and lead a team of around 33 through 4 direct reports. You will be responsible for the delivery of CHP’s core financial accounting, reporting, and control activities, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance. You will also play a key role in supporting strategic business decisions through the provision of high-quality financial information and insight.
This is an exciting time to join CHP. The organisation continues to evolve in response to the NHS Long Term Plan, and our role as a strategic infrastructure partner is more important than ever. We are seeking a finance professional with strong leadership capabilities, proven technical knowledge, and a passion for public service. You will need to bring strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, a values-driven approach, and the ability to operate in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
If you share our commitment to making a lasting impact on community healthcare, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Warm regards,

Nafees Arif
Chief Financial Officer
