Regional Director

Dear Prospective Colleague,

Thank you for your interest in the Regional Director (North West) role with Community Health Partnerships (CHP), an NHS company working in partnership with local health and care systems.

CHP was set up by the Department of Health and Social Care to provide high quality health and social care facilities which meet local needs – our purpose is to provide innovative and sustainable spaces for patient care. Our properties developed via partnerships with the private sector house GP services, community nursing, rehabilitation services, outpatients, diagnostic services, pharmacies, dental services, and other community services.

We have three main business areas – finance and investment, property and operations and advisory services for strategic estates matters. Our people understand primary and community healthcare infrastructure and work tirelessly to support the NHS to recover core patient services and deliver placed based care. We are part of the NHS family.

We strive to lead the field in what we do. Our priorities and our people support this. They encompass the ambition we have for the future; and our willingness to innovate and develop solutions to deliver improved health outcomes in local communities. Our expertise is highly valued by those we work with. We prioritise our active participation in local conversations in order to align our portfolio to emerging clinical service models and service contract needs.

As the NHS responds to government’s Productivity Challenge, CHP has a central role to play in driving productivity across the NHS estate through the utilisation and optimisation of its community-based portfolio.  At the same time, we must ensure our estate solutions, investments and advisory provision remains fit for the future and responsive to the evolving needs and expectations of our customers. Our vision is one where CHP is recognised as a pioneering, innovative leader of change; led by experts in their field.  You will join us at an exciting time where strategic direction is clear and focussed on effective management of existing estate and better meeting customer needs though existing buildings.

To this end we are seeking an experienced, values driven individual to join our team of 5 Regional Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to strategically position CHP and its joint venture partners as the infrastructure partner of choice across the regional and local health economy, to secure the long-term strategic relevance of CHP, the portfolio it manages (LIFT initiative), and identify opportunities to promote and generated income that deliver on CHP’s objectives in response to the NHS Long Term Plan.

If you think you have the skills and ability to add value to our organisation in driving forward  with our aims and ambitions we would like to hear from you.

Kind Regards,

James Bawn
Strategic Business Development Director
